LeoVegas adds Yggdrasil Gaming content
Licensing deal sees more than 20 games added to LeoVegas platform from today
Games provider Yggdrasil Gaming has signed a licensing agreement with LeoVegas to supply the operator with its entire lottery and casino games portfolio.
Yggdrasil’s full suite of 23 lottery and instant lotto products, including slots, keno, mobile and online scratch games, will be added to LeoVegas’s mobile and desktop sites.
The deal represents the second in as many weeks for Yggdrasil, following its agreement with Mr Green.
LeoVegas has signed a number of media partnerships including with The Sun and the Mirror newspapers, along with a host of media activity due to go live in the first half of 2014.
“LeoVegas and Yggdrasil together make the perfect partnership,” Fredrik Elmqvist, CEO of Yggdrasil Gaming, said. “LeoVegas has claimed considerable market share within the Nordic market and I am confident that our products will enhance that further.”
Launched in 2012, LeoVegas is focused largely on Scandinavian markets and has achieved rapid growth, particularly in mobile players.
Earlier this month eGaming Review revealed the operator was launching a multi-million pound marketing push as part of its plans to become a leading player in the UK’s lucrative mobile gaming market.
“Working with Yggdrasil is a natural progression for us as we focus on building a strong offering in the Nordic market. Yggdrasil’s strategic understanding of the gaming market and mobile in particular is clearly visible from their future-proof product portfolio and platform,” added Gustaf Hagman, co-founder and director of LeoVegas.
