Nektan launches white-label mobile platform
Mobile gaming supplier unveils casino platform a year on from acquiring mobile gaming firm Mfuse
Nektan launched its white-label mobile casino platform this week with the Gibraltar-licensed firm’s Chomp Casino brand the first to go live on the platform.
The white-label product, which allows operators to enter the mobile casino market by offering them a branded site featuring 14 exclusive HTML5 slot games, has been in the pipeline since it acquired mobile-gaming supplier Mfuse last year.
Nektan said it spent the past year building the platform and that several more operator partners are set to go live in the near future.
The firm said the deal to buy Mfuse, which followed a £5m ($8.2m) funding round, was “starting to bear fruit” and that it is planning the launch of a native iOS app in the coming months.
“Players are migrating in large numbers to smartphones and tablets and have gaming expectations that demand a modern and more flexible platform,” Simon Teppett, Nektan CTO, said.
“Having made this investment, we’re now able to work smarter and deliver great mobile games for the benefit of partners and players alike,” he added.
Teppett, who spent five years as head of mobile and TV technology at Betfair, joined Netkan in February along with ex-PartyGaming product boss Dominic Le Garsmeur.
Nektan also appointed ex-Probability COO Matt Sunderland as chief operating office last June.
