OlyBet signs Playtech online casino deal
Latvia and Estonia-facing Olympic Entertainment Group selects Playtech as exclusive casino supplier
Estonia and Latvia-facing Olympic Entertainment Group (OEG) has chosen Playtech as its exclusive online casino supplier.
The Eastern European land-based operator recently re-launched its online sports betting product under the new OlyBet brand, and later added poker via Microgaming’s network.
The addition of casino completes the relaunch of OEG’s online offering, after it unified the company’s online services under one brand and dumped its Olympic-Online tag back in July.
“With the help of Playtech, we are launching something truly unique to support our landbased casino and sports bar operations, as OlyBet provides the region’s greatest selection of online casino games, delightful poker interface, the best selection of events and the most favourable odds for sports betting,” said Kaido Ulejev, OlyBet general manager.
“Playtech is thrilled to take part in OlyBet’s launch and is delighted about the opportunity to work with Olybet as they enter the regulated markets of Estonia and Latvia,” added Shay Segev, Playtech’s COO.
OEG signed a multi-year agreement with Isle of Man-based Iforium to handle the re-launch of its online site in the summer.
The agreement saw Iforium deliver its complete sports betting and gaming suite for use by Olybet’s land-based, retail, mobile and online platforms through the company’s Wagerflex back end solution and Gameflex multi-vendor casino offering.
