OMI Gaming licensed in Alderney
Mobile games supplier receives core service associate certificate from Channel Island regulator.

Swedish-founded mobile specialist OMI Gaming has been awarded a core service associate certificate by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission.
Following the receipt of the certificate the company will be able to offer its suite of mobile and social games to licensees of Alderney and other “reputable jurisdictions”.
The news follows the announcement that OMI Gaming had agreed a multi-year deal to add its mobile casino and social games to EveryMatrix’s GamMatrix platform.
OMI Gaming sales and marketing director André Orefjärd described Alderney as one of the most reputable jurisdictions in the world, adding that “We are dedicated to meet with Alderney’s rigid standards to be able provide the highest quality mobile and social service to our clients.”
This month the Alderney Gambling Control Commission revealed in its annual report that it had 51 licensees at the end of 2011, the same number as at the end of the previous year, with 12 new licences issued over the 12-month period. The number of holders of core service associate certificates stood at 28 at the end of 2011, with eight new recipients.
A number of other operators and service providers have received Alderney accreditation since the turn of the year, with Pinnacle Sports and Sportech among the most recent. The AGCC also signed a memorandum of understanding with the Danish Gambling Authority, which will allow Alderney-licensed operators to apply for a Danish licence without having a presence in the country.
