PokerStars among new DOGA members
TivoliCasino.dk and SpilNu.dk also join Danish operator association

Three new operators have joined the Danish Online Gambling Association (DOGA), taking its number of members up to 10.
TivoliCasino.dk, SpilNu.dk, admitted within the last two weeks, and PokerStars, which joined in May, are the latest companies to join DOGA after Ladbrokes, Bet24 and Betsson became members of the trade association last year.
“It’s not easy to understand the different regulatory issues within the Danish online gambling market, we can provide guidance to operators through the interpretation of difficult legislation,” DOGA chief executive Morten Ronde (pictured) told eGaming Review.
“Each of the operators has strong brands and has proven to be successful at the Danish online gambling market and will without doubt strengthen DOGA’s profile,” Ronde added in a statement.
Despite low profit margins for operators, data provided by eGaming Review’s partner H2 Gambling Capital shows that last year total Danish player gambling gross win rose by nearly 20% to DKK9.51bn (1.28bn).
