Redbet joins Ongame network
Operator joins Amaya-owned network after leaving IGT's now-defunct Entraction.
Swedish operator Redbet Gaming has confirmed it has joined the Ongame poker network in a two-year deal.
After leaving the now-closed Entraction network, Redbet has signed a two-year licensing agreement with Ongame owner Amaya Gaming to power its company-wide poker business, which includes brands such as Redbet.com, Whitebet.com and Heypoker.com.
Adam Vella, head of poker at Redbet Gaming, said of the move: “When leaving the IGT poker network we did a thorough investigation of all B2B poker providers. Selecting Ongame was an easy choice. Ongame combines excellent network management with a rock solid technical platform. Today, Ongame now provides poker to all of our major sites.”
IGT acquired European-facing poker network Entraction for £70m less than two years ago, shutting it down due to cost issues on 11 December.
A number of operators on the network had already committed to moving their respective poker offerings elsewhere, with many joining the Microgaming Poker Network “ now rebranded as the MPN.
Last month Redbet Gaming’s parent company Nordic Leisure, previously known as Redbet Holding, recorded a profit in its first full quarter since undergoing the name-change.
Nordic Leisure completed its rebranding in September after initially committing to the process at May’s annual general meeting, and in the intervening period has agreed casino deals with suppliers NYX Gaming Group and Betsoft Gaming.
