Sporting Solutions is to launch a trading school in partnership with the University of Salford in a bid to improve the core competencies of its trading staff.
The Trading School of Excellence (TSE), which commences in September, will see the B2B software and data services provider initially enrol up to 15 members of its trading team to the course.
Individuals who successfully complete the TSE course will be awarded a Post-graduate Certificate in Sports Pricing and. According to Sporting Solutions, the TSE has been designed to meet each individual’s development needs delivered via a mixture of onsite and distance learning over two modules, with each module running twice a year.
Sporting Solutions, which is a division of Sporting Index Group, provides in-play prices for sportsbook operators including William Hill, Betfred, Sky Bet, Youwin and Goldbet.
The business, which scooped the in-play betting software of the year prize at June’s eGaming Review B2B Awards, said it had taken the steps to set up the TSE in order to ensure partners continued to benefit from high quality pricing and in-play trading across a wide range of sports.
“The TSE is a ground-breaking initiative that will reinforce both our core trading values and our commitment to innovation,” said managing director of Sporting Solutions Simon Trim (pictured).
The TSE will be hosted within the University’s Centre for Sports Business at Salford Business School.
Sporting Solutions recently added a horse racing pricing service to its B2B offering. The new product, which launched in June, includes an early pricing tissue service, morning prices, show prices, results, derivatives and Racing Post content.
