Evolution to launch live roulette in Spain

Evolution Gaming is to design and launch a live roulette studio in Spain for Grupo Orenes’ land-based casino Rincón de Pepe in Murcia.

The agreement also allows for any Spanish egaming operators licensed by the Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego (DGOJ) to stream live roulette games to their players from Evolution’s studio.

The live offering will be launched later this month while the broadcast studio has already been installed on the casino gaming floor. The live stream will also be iPad compatible.

Evolution chief commercial officer and co-founder Fredrik Osterberg said: “We are delighted to be working with Grupo Orenes, a leader in the private gaming and leisure industry in Spain. With the group managing numerous casinos, bingo halls, game rooms, hotels, restaurants and cafés in Spain and Latin America, there is huge scope for them to add incremental revenue with a world-class online Live Roulette solution localised specifically for the regulated online gambling market in Spain.”

Last month, the live dealer software specialist agreed to launch a live casino area for Ladbrokes, and signed an exclusive three-year international agreement with the world’s largest television producer to launch the Deal or No Deal brand into the online live dealer market.

It also launched its first poker-style game and a new range of mobile gaming iPad solutions including live roulette with “one major worldwide betting brand” already signed up, the company has announced this morning.
