GameAccount signs European deal with Ainsworth
Australian slot manufacturer developing own online content to distribute via GameAccounts' European-facing platforms.
GameAccount Network has signed a deal with Ainsworth to integrate the Australian slot manufacturer’s online game content into its European-facing platforms.
Ainsworth has begun developing its own online slot content and GameAccount will distribute it to regulated European markets, with a particular focus on Italy. The first of Ainsworth’s games are schedules to be launched in 2013, with Italy poised to open up its online slots market in January.
Ainswoth CEO Danny Gladstone said in the company’s full year financial results yesterday: “This agreement will align our efforts with a third party provider that will introduce our innovative slot game content to an entirely new online audience.
“Our non-exclusive agreement enables the launch of our leading slot content onto real money internet gaming platforms in regulated online markets and is the first step of an expansion strategy to establish a social and online gaming business.”
The agreement mirrors that struck between GameAccount and Barcrest, announced in May, which sees see a selection of the gaming machine manufacturer’s games launched online via the skill games provider’s platform in various international jurisdictions.
The deal with Ainsworth is GameAccount’s second with an Australian slot manufacturer after signing a multi-year US partnership with Aristocrat in August last year, while the network already has an Italian-facing deal with Eurobet for non-spinning slots.
In April this year, GameAccount Network and Aristocrat launched their first joint freeplay online casino website hosted in Nevada, Myliveonlinecasino.com for the Maryland Live! Casino, while in October Aristocrat launched a freeplay casino for Michigan’s Island Resort & Casino.
