Mybet extends Amaya relationship with Ongame move
German operator will also take live dealer offering from Canadian software provider

Schleswig-Holstein-based operator mybet has moved its poker offering from iPoker to Amaya Gaming’s Ongame network.
It follows InterPoker and Gaming MediaGroup’s Poker Heaven brand in moving to the network in recent weeks, while mybet has also agreed to take on Amaya’s live casino solution.
Mybet, in its previous guise as JAXX SE, took delivery of casino content from the likes of Chartwell and CryptoLogic, since acquired by Amaya. The supplier’s executive David Baazov commented that the latest agreement “illustrates the importance of [Amaya’s] full-suite product strategy”.
He added that being able to support its partners with a full range of games and products “is an advantage for both parties” by strengthening the supplier relationship and presenting new business opportunities. Describing the agreement as “a strategic relationship for both parties”, mybet CEO Matthias Dahms (pictured) said the extension “enables us to improve both customer satisfaction and profitability”.
Amaya has announced a number of new agreements since the appointment of industry veteran Paul Leggett as head of online, as it looks to make up for the poker liquidity lost when bwin and Betfair left the network in recent months. Bwin joined PartyPoker’s dot.com platform in December while Betfair joined iPoker early this year.
The Toronto-listed firm also continues to make progress in the US, signing up Aristocrat to use Ongame’s poker software for the American market, and at the time Baazov described the US as “the most promising market in the world”.
