Interpoker to move to Ongame network
Site owned by Amaya subsidiary becomes first site to join poker network since RedBet in December last year.

The CryptoLogic-owned Interpoker brand has announced it will leave the SPIELO G2 Poker Network to move to Ongame.
The site will relaunch on the network, which was acquired by Amaya “ CryptoLogic’s parent company “ for an initial consideration of 15m (£12.7m) in November last year on 24 April.
However, Interpoker’s Danish players will remain on its existing network until the site receives regulatory approval from the Danish Gambling Authority.
Betfair, which will close its room in July this year once a migration to Playtech’s iPoker network is completed, remains the highest-profile company remaining on the Ongame network. PAF, Betsson “ which also has a skin on Microgaming’s MPN “ and RedBet are among the largest operators still active on the platform, while Amaya is set to launch a Playboy-branded poker offering on the network this year.
Last month saw Ongame launch its fast-fold poker offering, Strobe, which is optimised for mobile play and allows for five-handed mobile play for lower rake, which was described as “targeted at the recreational player” by the network’s head of poker, Fredrik Kjell.
Amaya also expanded its memorandum of understanding with Bally Technologies in February this year, with Ongame becoming Bally’s preferred online poker provider as a result. This deal followed the launch of a dot.be mobile poker offering in December 2012, with GoldenPalace.be the first to go live on the platform.
