Plumbee launches latest Quickspin slot
Big Bad Wolf release first since social operator went live with Rapunzel's Tower and Goldilocks and the Wild Bears on its Mirrorball Slots Facebook app.

Social gaming operator Plumbee has announced the launch of its latest Facebook casino game with Quickspin’s Big Bad Wolf added to its Mirrorball Slots application.
Plumbee launched the Mirrorball Slots app on Facebook in March this year with Quickspin’s Rapunzel’s Tower and Goldilocks and the Wild Bears, after securing a US$2.8m investment from French venture capital firm Idinvest Partners. The app currently has around 920,000 monthly active users according to AppData.
At the time Plumbee founder and CEO Raf Keustermans explained that the company was aiming to expand its London-based team to 25 staff by the end of April, but yesterday revealed to eGaming Review that the operator has grown at a faster rate, employing 32 people, including former Betfair CFO Owen O’Donnell, who has been hired as an independent non-executive director.
Speaking to eGaming Review, Keustermans said this morning: “”We’re very excited about the launch of Big Bad Wolf in Mirrorball Slots, as it’s yet another step in our vision to win in the social casino vertical by focusing on world-class content.
“With the launch of this new game, we now have more depth and breadth in our offering, which places us in great position to push for further audience and revenue growth in the coming weeks and months,” he said.
Big Bad Wolf is the first video slot to feature Swooping Reels functionality to be developed by Quickspin, and also features a bonus game in which players collect moon symbols to help a wolf blow down each of the three little pigs’ houses to win extra free spins.
Commenting on the launch Quickspin’s VP of products Mats Westerlund explained: “With our two previously very successful games, we wanted to raise the bar even further when it comes to innovation, design and gameplay. I think that Big Bad Wolf proves that we have taken yet another step in establishing ourselves as a leader in our niche.
“I look forward to see the games go live on both the social gaming market as well as the real-money gambling market, and I am confident that it will perform very well on both,” Westerlund said.
The launch is the first since Quickspin entered into a partnership with Playtech subsidiary Gaming Technology Solutions. Under the terms of the deal Quickspin’s games will be integrated onto GTS’ Enhanced Gaming Engine (EdGE) platform.
