Paddy Power launches 40 Shades of Santa
50 Shades-inspired mobile slot will make players "wish it was Christmas every day", according to mobile games manager.

Paddy Power has announced the launch of a new festive mobile slot, 40 Shades of Santa, which has been developed exclusively for the operator by mobile gaming specialist Probability.
Based on the erotic bestseller 50 Shades of Grey, the fastest-selling paperback of all time, the 5-reel, 50-line slot features what Paddys describes as “saucy” icons including a blushing Santa, handcuffs, blindfolds and a sexy Mrs Claus, allowing players to win up to £25,000 from just 5p per spin.
Commenting on the launch, Paddy Power mobile games manager Lucinda Kelly said: “May Santa, his sexy missus and their bag of tricks bring joy, luck and little naughtiness to you all this Christmas.
“With £25,000 wrapped up under the tree, Paddy Power’s new and exclusive 40 Shades of Santa 5 reel, 50 slot game is the ultimate way to unwind this Christmas. With free spins and a free bonus up for grabs, punters will wish it was Christmas every day,” she added.
The launch comes amid a flurry of activity at the Irish operator, with the company having unveiled a new visual identity earlier this month, designed to reflect the company’s “mischief-maker” persona.
Led by head of mischief Ken Robertson, Paddys launched a number of audacious stunts throughout 2012, including Danish footballer Nicklas Bendtner flashing ‘lucky’ Paddy Power pants during a Euro 2012 match and an advertising campaign around the London Olympics, which saw the company win a legal battle against games organisers LOCOG.
It has also enhanced its product portfolio, signing agreements to take delivery of casino games from Net Entertainment and IGT, launching its iOS-optimised Roller Casino brand in September, and demo-launching a portfolio of Facebook slots developed by its Cayetano Gaming subsidiary in November.
